At a time when the LGBTQ+ community faces unprecedented challenges to their rights and dignity, PFY’s mission has never been more critical. As threats to equality intensify and the possibility of defunding looms, our commitment remains unwavering: we stand with our community when they need us most.

This year, we invite you to join us in celebrating PRIDE WITH PURPOSE - a meaningful opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of LGBTQ+ youth and adults across Long Island and Queens.

For 33 years, PFY has been a trailblazer - the first LGBTQ+ center of its kind in a suburban setting in the United States. Today, we serve over 16,000 LGBTQ+ individuals and allies annually across Long Island and Queens, providing essential programs including counseling, housing and nutritional support, employment services, HIV testing, medical connections, community education, and safe social spaces.

WE CANNOT – AND WILL NOT – STOP NOW.

On Thursday June 4th, 2026, we will hold our annual fundraising gala at Westbury Manor – PRIDE WITH PURPOSE: A Benefit for PFY & the LGBTQ+ Community. This is not only an event to dine, dance, and have fun, but also a vital moment to help PFY continue providing lifesaving programs and services for the LGBTQ+ community. It is a moment to celebrate and honor PRIDE WITH PURPOSE.
