It is no secret that we are living in challenging times that are not always kind to the LGBTQ+ community. We have seen much anti-LGBTQ+ legislation taking place across the country in recent years, and even right here locally. It is a pivotal time in history when demonstrating LGBTQ+ support is imperative to shift the climate to one of acceptance, inclusion, and embracing diversity. POWER OF PRIDE: Raising LGBTQ+ Voices to Benefit PFY will be dedicated to honoring and uplift the voices of some of Long Island’s most groundbreaking LGBTQ+ trailblazers!
As the very first LGBTQ+ center of its kind to open in a suburban setting in the United States, PFY is a groundbreaking trailblazer in our own right.
